This summertime was pretty balmy, and being a starving college undergraduate, I was poor on cash. This meant spending a high air con monthly bill was out of the question. Fortunately, I happened to be extending a helping hand with my buddy who was relocating to a much more cold environment. I spied his oscillating pedestal fan by just sitting there, patiently waiting to deliver me from the tough heat wave that swept the location, reducing free thought and comfort on all who were in its overbearing grip.

Not to mention it was a pedestal fan with remote control. Hallelujah! My prayers had been answered by one of several pedestal fans. I could loosen up once more, never to be annoyed by the uncontrollable climate. I could plop down comfortably also knowing that this thing would not dig its heels into my almost lacking budget with power usage.

The fact that it was sufficiently small to be handy was a blessing as well, mainly since I was too broke to afford one myself and so it can go with me wherever I wanted to bring it. After that, we were the perfect buddies. We had gone on all sorts of activities; fighting zombies, heading to the moon, and also scuba diving.

Sadly, 2 months after I figured out I was no more allowed to give plasma for cash anymore, so I had to sell off my pedestal fan in a last ditch attempt to get adequate money to provide a nice date with a young lady (who later on solved my financial problems). Once I had the money to liberate my best pedestal fan with handheld control, I had found out that it was not available as it had forsaken me.

I believe I will never know a better oscillating pedestal fan, for my fan was the best of any alternative pedestal fans. Do not forget me my pedestal fan, no matter where your trips shall take you! You are dearly missed.
