Before we talk about self-confidence, we first need to talk about “self.”
Who are you?
What are you about?
What are your core values and beliefs?
What do you love to think about?
Self is who you are inside.
You have to understand this self.
If you don’t understand your Self, how can you have faith in yourself?
How will you have direction in your life?
If you don’t fully understand yourself, there are hundreds…maybe thousands…of messages hammering you each
day from media and the people in your life. These messages will define you instead unless you understand yourself.
You want to reach your destination rather than be tossed about like a ship without a sail.
Start taking time to get to know yourself.
Learn to enjoy your own company.
And…dare I say it…fall in love with yourself.
Then you will have the confidence that will carry you forward.
So get to know your Self.

Living the life of your dreams instead of just dreaming about it is all about creating a Millionaire Mindset. And that’s my specialty! I love to share different strategies, skills, exercises and ideas on how to keep your mind focused on raising the levels of Wealth in your life. Because the more you focus on something, the FASTER you will attract it into your life.
Take a moment to think about where your focus or predominant mental attitude is. And if it’s more on your bills, debts and lack of money, then you MUST begin to focus on wealth, riches and prosperity – or you will never be able to attract it into your life. A surprisingly simple but amazingly powerful exercise to attract prosperity to you takes less than a minute a day, and if you do this daily, you’ll be amazed at what you begin to attract into your life. This exercise is called Abundance Breaths and basically all you need to do is breathe. Well, actually, it’s a little more than that…
As already stated, you become what you focus on. Too often, it can be challenging to know exactly what you do want. You get caught up in trying to make up your mind – “Do I want this or that? What if I get that and I really would have preferred this?” “I thought I wanted this, but now I think I want that”.
Sometimes it’s easier if you can just focus on the feeling of abundance, rather than the specifics of what that abundance will be. It is the feeling that has the attraction power anyway. You can get specific when all the money comes in!
What you should do before this exercise to create avalanches of abundance and prosperity is find a comfy chair and sit down with your feet flat on the floor, back straight and hands resting in your lap with palms facing up. Gently close your eyes and keep them closed. Before you get started just imagine that you are now surrounded by tiny, minute particles of abundance; that you are immersed in a sea of prosperity and you can reach out and touch it and bring it into your life whenever you desire (which you can!).
When you’re ready, take a long, slow, deep Abundance Breath in to the count of three, totally expanding and filling your lungs. Imagine all the while that you are breathing in those particles of prosperity and they are filling every fibre of your being. Feel that feeling of being flooded with abundance. Hold your breath for the count of nine and feel every atom, every cell in your entire body being plumped up with prosperity, filled with abundance, vibrating with riches. And then slowly, to the count of six, breathe out that Abundance to circulate throughout the Universe – really force all that air out.
Once again, take another long, slow, deep Abundance Breath in, and this time, see your body light up from the inside out, glowing with prosperity, sparkling with riches, dazzling with wealth. I like to imagine that my body is glowing from the inside out with that same golden glow that radiates from Scrooge McDuck’s millions, or the gold in Aladdin’s cave! Once again, hold for the count of nine, seeing that glow, feeling that glow, then on the out breath, once again breathe out the abundance to circulate throughout the Universe.
One last time, slowly breathe in a huge big Abundance Breath for the count of three, and while you hold that breath for the count of nine, imagine and feel what it’s like to be totally abundant, amazingly wealthy, to have achieved financial freedom and be rich beyond your wildest dreams. Feel how that feels; feel how light and free and good that feels. Expand that feeling; feel it flood through your body. Embrace that amazing feeling throughout your body, mind and spirit. And for the last time, slowly breathe that abundance and prosperity out to circulate throughout the Universe.
And when you’re ready, slowly open your eyes, feeling prosperous, feeling wealthy, feeling rich, rich, rich! As I said, this is a very easy, very powerful little trick you can do daily or many times, if you want to attract MORE into your life. It only takes a couple of minutes, but has amazing money-magnetizing powers. Once you get really good at your Abundance Breaths, you won’t even need to close your eyes – you will be able to feel those feelings, see your body glowing with prosperity and really feel you are beginning to attract money anytime, anywhere – what fun! Remember, the idea is to focus on what you DO want – and that’s a life filled with prosperity, abundance, riches, wealth and happiness!

You must live to answer and honor these questions, because when it comes to the last 100 days of the year, every day and everything you do counts.

Plan & Prepare for Your Fabulous Life
‘If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.’
Now you have your dreams and you believe that you are capable of achieving them, it’s time to get ready for where you are going. You must focus on the end picture, your BIG DREAMS, and ensure that you have the people, the resources and the steps in place in order to accomplish your desires. To ensure the very best success you need to first create a ‘follow your BIG DREAMS’ action plan.
It is a great idea to begin with the end in mind by starting with the clear picture of what it is you really want to achieve (remember THINK BIG). Focus on one area at a time and determine what aspect of your life you want to improve first. It is usually best to start with the area you spend most of your time with—self, family, career or business. Self-improvement in one area will positively affect all other areas, so there is no need to develop a program for each area in the beginning.
Once you have determined which area you want to focus on, find out where you are right now. How do you see yourself now? Then fast forward the movie of your life and look at the future, having achieved your dreams. How does this make you feel? Think about what you need to do to advance forward (to fill the gap from where you are now to where you want to be) and then start setting up an action plan on how to get there.

An action plan is designed to be a guide or a road map that will help keep you focused on what you want, what you need to do and when you plan to achieve it by. It is created to keep your dreams and goals clearly defined and out in front of you at all times. Taking small steps will make your journey easier and will help ensure that you get to where you are going.
Planning to achieve your dreams is similar to planning a holiday. You never go on holidays without knowing your destination, knowing what mode of transport you are using to get there, getting information and knowledge from others that have been there or reading books about where you are going.
If you really want to succeed you must read books, watch DVD”s, listen to audios, interact with others and ask questions. If somebody else has already achieved your dreams then there is no reason why you cannot achieve them also.
To help make your plans take concrete shape I recommend that you address four key questions: What? Who? When? and How?
What?
This is the broadest question to consider.
- What are you willing and able to do in order for your life to change and set your dream as a priority?
- What time, equipment, support and resources do you require in order to fulfill your dreams?
- What specific actions will you take? Consider first what you’ll cut out of your schedule in order to make space for productive advancement.
- What are you willing to give up or scale back on (say, television or excess work hours) to increase your commitment to your dreams?
Who?
Consider, in broad terms,
- Who will be involved in supporting your dreams. You, certainly, but you may also want to draw on some additional support, whether it’s a friend, a family member or a life coach www.feelingfabulousforever.com .
- Who do you know (or have access to) that could serve as a skill-and-knowledge resource for you?
- Who has achieved your dream that you can learn from? Do you have a role model? If so, what characteristics and accomplishments inspire you the most?
When?
Saying you’ll make time to focus and follow your dreams isn’t as powerful as committing to specific days and times.
- When are you going to start?
- How often will you be pro-active, for how long each day and will you commit to following your dreams until you accomplish them. Schedule some time everyday (even if it is only 5 mins) and write it down in your day planner.
How?
Once you’ve decided what kind of ‘what, who are when’, decide on how you’ll track your progress and support your success.
- How will you stay motivated to stick with your plan? For some people, hiring life coach or mastermind group is the answer. For others, it’s regular check-ins with a mentor or tangible rewards for meeting small goals along the way.
- How will you track your achievements?
- How will you respond if you run into unexpected or apparently insurmountable obstacles? What are your next steps or sources of support if things don’t go as planned?
- How will you celebrate your successes — not just for achieving your defined goals, but also for reaching key points along the way?
Take note of your answers to these questions: They’ll prove important as you work through your action plan to success.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t have all the answers to the above questions straight away. They will come. The important thing is you just have to prepare to begin and answer the questions along the way. JUST GET STARTED!

Once you have decided that you are going to be successful in creating the life of your dreams then you must adjust your attitude. BELIEVE that you are capable of achieving your dreams. You must believe that your dreams are possible and believe in yourself. Believing in yourself is a choice and an attitude that you can develop overtime. It is your responsibility to take charge of your own dreams and beliefs NOW, no matter what has happened in the past. Learn to live each day with a positive mindset and begin to instill in your mind the unquenchable desire of your heart.
When you truly believe you get a gut feeling and you know that your dream is possible, even if it is far out of reach at this point in time. Many successful people living fabulous lives where not the most gifted or talented in their fields, but they chose to dream big and believe that anything was possible. Most people fail not because they lack the skills or aptitude to achieve their dreams but because they simply don’t believe they can achieve them. If you believe that your dreams are possible then you will do what is necessary to produce the desired results.

One of the first things that you MUST do is to give up the phrase ‘I can’t’. These two small words actually disempower you and make you weaker each time that you say them. So start by taking responsibility from removing ‘I can’t’ from your vocabulary and replace them with the question ‘How can I?’
You must believe that there is a plan and a purpose for your life. You reading this article is no accident. You must believe that you have a destiny of success waiting for you. You have talents, abilities, personality, character, skills, knowledge and looks that make you unlike anybody else – you are UNIQUE. You are designed with these talents, abilities, skills, personality and you bring value to the world. What you know and what you are able to do and who you are is designed to bring value to other people’s lives as well as your own. What is your purpose in life? You must believe that you were made for a reason.
Whatever your dream is, look at yourself in the mirror and declare that you are indeed going to achieve it – no matter what it takes. It is amazing what happens to your self confidence when you tell yourself forcefully what you are going to do.
If you dream and you believe, and you are willing to see it through then don’t listen to those around you who tell you that it is not possible. Surround yourself with people who believe in your dreams. Don’t waste your time listening to people who do not support your dreams. Ask yourself: Are they living their dreams? Support other people with BIG DREAMS and believe in their dreams also.
Never worry about what others think of your BIG DREAMS. If having others believe in you and your dreams was a requirement for a successful, fabulous life, most people would never accomplish anything. Base your decisions about what you want and what your dreams and desires are – not those of your family, friends and co-workers. Follow your heart, follow your dreams.
